My good friend, Leah Taylor, asked me to write a guest post for her blog. Read my post about the changing of the seasons by clicking HERE. Leah is hosting an online Scentsy party, so feel free to take part in that as well (just click on her name on the list of open parties)! I don't own any Scentsy candles, yet, but they look perfect for someone like me. Let's just say that flames are no longer allowed in my house. I'll save that story for another day.
If you are coming here from Leah's blog, let me welcome you! Thanks for stopping by! Please take a look around and make yourself at home. Mi blog es su blog!
All this talk about Fall brought to my memory a poem that I have loved since I read The Outsiders in high school. In the book, the character named Ponyboy recites the poem, "Nothing Gold Can Stay" by Robert Frost. Here's the poem, set to some beautiful Fall scenery and music:
How do you feel about Fall? What do you love about this season? Do you have any special memories of Fall you'd like to share? I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments section!

I couldn't help but laugh at the open flame rule.
Seriously.
I love that fall is when my Matthew was born.
I hate that fall is when he left me.
I love that fall means my Luke is closer to being born.
I hate that fall could be when he also leaves me.
xoxoxo
